This is not training Solution Circles provide a structured, time-limited process for collaborative problem-solving. They enable practitioners to share perspectives and generate practical solutions for safeguarding challenges in a focused, supportive environment.

 

Format / Duration: Face-to-face, 1 hour session: approx. 14 minutes per issue (4 stages); you have the option to present your own issue and/ or contribute to solutions

Multi-agency professionals seeking collaborative ideas for safeguarding issues

  Aim :

To facilitate rapid, multi-agency ideas sharing that produces actionable strategies for safeguarding issues.

  Learning Outcomes :
Stage 1 2 mins- Set the focus- the issue is clearly outlined by the person without inerruption from the group
Stage 2 4 mins- Clarification questions- this is teh only stage with direct dialogue between the group and the person with the issue 
Stage 3 4 mins- Solutions- the person with the issue will need a paper and pen to write down the solutions/ ways forward offered by the multi-agency colleagues
Stage 4 4 mins Selection- The person who brough the issue will add up the solutions, subtract those already tried and reflect on those remaining to select two that they will action
