This course is being offered in a variety of localities around Solihull.

People who wish to attend are encouraged to attend in a locality that they are based, work or volunteer directly with people in that area.

The course will therefore be offered on a rolling basis in different venues, if there is not a date in the locality where you work advertised, please request to be notified & when a new date and locality is added the system will notify you. If this still isn’t suitable, simply request to be notified again.

Aim :

Those that have a safeguarding responsibility and work of volunteer in the locality of the course venue

Learning Outcomes :

To recognise 3 key steps for baby safety- Safe Sleep, Safe Handling, Safe Space

To identify the importance of exploring parental vulnerabilities

To recognise the importance of identifying and engaging will all members of the family and household of a baby

Minimum Requirements :

You should have a basic understanidng of safeguarding children
