You must have a responsibility to deliver safeguarding training to others to attend this course.

This is a train the trainer course, so is aimed at those who work/volunteer in organisations with young people over the age of 13 who have a responsibility to deliver safeguarding training to others

Aim :

The aim of this course is to train those who attend to deliver training on raising awareness of domestic abuse in young people's intimate partner relationships

Learning Outcomes :

Those who attend this training will be able to deliver training that enables people who attend to;

be able to recognise early identification signs of domestic abuse in intimate partner relationships of young people

explore some of the reasons why it is difficult for young people to recognise and disclose abuse in relationships

have confidence to discuss this subject with young people

respond to concerns of domestic abuse in young people's intimate partner relationships, knowing pathways to follow and where to seek support

Minimum Requirements :

You must have a good understanding of safeguarding and the responsibility of training others
