Practitioners who identify and respond to additional needs for families with babies, children and young people.

Aim :

Equip frontline staff to recognise, discuss and support families experiencing parental conflict.

Learning Outcomes :

Distinguish destructive and constructive conflict and their impact on child outcomes.
Use active listening and empathy to ask effective questions.
Apply tools and approaches to support parents in conflict situations.

Minimum Requirements :

Please note, you must be able to attend the whole programme. Missing part of the training will mean that your partial attendance will not be counted as having completed this training and you will not receive certification.

Applicants must have completed Foundation (Agency specific, in-house) safeguarding training.
